Who we are:
We are a group of physicians and providers across three key public health care institutions: UCHealth, CU School of Medicine, and Denver Health. We are united in our belief that physicians and providers need a collective voice at work – to be the best advocates for ourselves, our colleagues and the patients we treat.

You have rights!
Public employee Physicians and Providers have new workplace protections under the Colorado Protections for Public Workers Act (PROPWA) which went into effect August 2023 and will gain an additional level of administrative enforcement from CDLE on July 1, 2024. You and your coworkers now have the legal right to:
Talk about workplace concerns with coworkers (on breaks and lunch hours)
Ask coworkers to join a union (on breaks and lunch hours)
Sign a petition or attend a rally on your own time regarding workplace issues
Engage in other forms of protected concerted activity such as meeting a co-worker in the breakroom to talk about workplace issues or unionization
Lobby on bills related to your work (on your own or your union’s behalf)
Speak with members of your public employer's governing body
Speak to the press as a union member on issues affecting you in the workplace
Organize, form, join, or assist a union
